Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice found the end zone for just the second time this season when he caught a 14-yard pass from Tarvaris Jackson in the second quarter against the St. Louis Rams. It was one of Rice's three receptions for a total of 35 receiving yard. Rice also thew one pass for a gain of 55 yards.
Mike Williams, who caught Rice's pass, and Doug Baldwin put up 62 and 60 receiving yards, respectively, to lead the team on a so-so day by Jackson. Jackson was 14-of-24 with two interceptions.
Rice has had an up-and-down season. He didn't play until late September due to injury and opened up with 109 receiving yards. But in the middle of October he put up back-to-back games with 38 receiving yards. With neither Tarvaris Jackson nor Charlie Whitehurst performing strongly, Rice's production has suffered.
