The Green Bay Packers continued their run of dominance, improving to 10-0 with a 35-26 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Packers grabbed the win without much in the way of a rushing attack as they relied on Aaron Rodgers arm for much of the game. Running back James Starks got eleven carries on the day but was forced out of action in the fourth quarter with what head coach Mike McCarthy believed to be a knee sprain.
The Packers have made it through the first ten games of the season relying primarily on their passing attack to carry the offense. Their rushing attack has dealt with a mix of ineffective play and injuries. Ryan Grant opened the year as the starter but has been surpassed on the depth chart by Starks. Grant has dealt with injuries as well and that has pushed him further down.
The Packers face a short week as they travel to face the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. There is nothing to indicate Starks will not be able to go on Thanksgiving, but if he is inactive, Ryan Grant would take his place in the starting lineup. Of course, when John Kuhn and B.J. Raji are getting goal line carries for the Packers, the fantasy options grow more and more slim.
