The Detroit Lions released their final injury report Wednesday afternoon and running Maurice Morris was listed as probable with a knee issue. Morris was a full participant in practice throughout the week and likely will be plenty available.
However, little things like this make life a lot easier for the Lions in sticking with Kevin Smith for another week. Smith stunned the fantasy football world when he blew up for over 200 combined yards last week against the Carolina Panthers. He was the hot pickup off waivers in every fantasy football league and now we'll see if he can follow up his huge performance. The Lions will need a big rushing day if they want to slow down the Packers high-flying attack. The best way to slow down this kind of offense is to keep them on the sidelines and Kevin Smith could be key to that.
