Matt Hasselbeck did not have a good game for the Tennessee Titans or his fantasy football owners. Hasselbeck, who might have been feeling the lingering effects of an elbow injury he suffered last week, threw for just 160 yards and one touchdown (along with two interceptions) in the Titans 23-17 win against the Bucs.
Hasselbeck left last week's game against the Falcons early with an elbow injury. He resumed practicing this week, and the Titans plan to start him this week despite rookie Jake Locker's impressive, two-touchdown debut. What it will take for Locker to get back in remains to be seen, but Hasselbeck could be on the sidelines with any trouble.
Hasselbeck had thrown one interception before leaving the game. He had four touchdowns and three interceptions in three games prior to that, despite the lack of contributions from running back Chris Johnson. Prior to week 12, Hasselbeck had 2,357 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Fake Teams, SB Nation's fantasy sports site, ranked Hasselbeck 14th on their rankings for week 12.
