During a season in which Michael Turner has been the biggest part of the Atlanta Falcons offense, it seems odd that his team would score three touchdown during one of his worst performances. Turner was held to just 64 all-purpose yards (60 rushing) and did not score a touchdown in a game the Falcons won 24-17.
Turner had been the rock of the Atlanta offense heading into their week 12 game against the Vikings. In ten games prior, Turner topped 100 rushing yards five times. He was averaging almost 89 yards per game this season. Turner ran for 100 yards even and a touchdown against the Titans last week.
Leading up to their week 12 game, Turner had 888 rushing yards on 200 carries. He had eight touchdowns too.
Fake Teams, SB Nation's fantasy sports site, ranked Turner fifth on their running back rankings for week 12.
