Drew Brees threw for four touchdowns and rushed for another in New Orleans' 49-24 win over the Giants. And in case that wasn't enough, he also racked up 363 passing yards. What more is there to say? He spread the ball around to seven different receivers, making tossing two touchdowns apiece to Jimmy Graham and Lance Moore. This is what Drew Brees does, ladies and gentleman.
Did you start him in fantasy this week? Of course you did. Anyone who has Brees on their fantasy team starts him, every week, without question. The way the game is shifting away from feature backs who pick up all of the touches and all of the touchdowns, Brees is probably the most obvious fantasy start in the league other than Aaron Rodgers, and he'll continue to be that even if he has a couple of bad performances.
For the season, Brees now has 3,689 yards -- the guy averaged 335.3 yards each time he steps on the field. He's thrown 27 touchdowns with just 11 interceptions.
