We break down the Thursday practice participation report for week 9 of the 2011 NFL season. For more on fantasy football, check out Fake Teams.

NFL teams released their Thursday practice participation reports as they continue preparing for Sunday's week nine contests. The Bears and Eagles also released their first injury reports of the week for Monday Night Football.

The updated Thursday reports include some notable changes. Wes Welker was back in practice, albeit in a limited role. More than likely he will be fine for Sunday against the Giants, but keep an eye out tomorrow to see if he has any setbacks. If there is going to be a setback, it would be between today and tomorrow, or in the couple of hours leading up to the game when he goes out to warm up beforehand.

Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw sat out practice again as he is dealing with a crack in his foot. However, reports indicate he is ready to play in spite of the injury. That becomes a tricky situation if you have Bradshaw or Brandon Jacobs. My gut says Bradshaw starts but is fairly limited and Brandon Jacobs ends up with more carries.

Teams generally have formal practices Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and release practice participation and injury reports at the end of each session. Monday Night Football teams are a day later. For the participation reports, players are listed as Out (Definitely Will Not Play), Did Not Participate In Practice, Limited Participation in Practice, Full Participant In Practice.
