Kellen Winslow Probable, Expected To Play Against Saints

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow is listed as "Probable" on the team's injury report and is expected to start on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

Winslow appeared on the team's injury report on Thursday, but for non-injury reasons, which were not disclosed.

The veteran tight end has battled knee injuries throughout his career, but has not missed any of the Buccaneers' seven games this season and is tied for the team lead with 31 receptions and ranks second behind second-year wide receiver Mike Williams in targets (58) and receiving yards (282) with one touchdown.

In the first meeting against the Saints, Winslow caught five passes for 40 yards and was involved in a verbal spat with quarterback Josh Freeman. The local media in Tampa brought that issue up, which Freeman says was no big deal.

"To be completely honest, out of all my guys (on the team) I probably have the best relationship with K2 (Winslow). We spend a lot of time working out in the offseason - hanging out," Freeman told WDAE via Roy Cummings of The Tampa Tribune.

"I have a great relationship with K2. In no way shape or form has he ever pressured me to get him the ball. You know, it’s a deal where we’re both extremely competitive."
