Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis will start despite being listed as questionable on the injury report, according to NFL.com's Jason La Confora.
Davis injured his ankle last week in the Redskins' loss to the Buffalo Bills and was seen in a walking boot as late as Monday. Davis was limited in practice Friday, but looks to be good to go against the San Francisco 49ers at FedEx Field.
The Redskins need all the help they can get as injuries have plagued the team in recent weeks. Davis' tight end counterpart, Chris Cooley, is our for the season as is running back Tim Hightower. Wide receiver Santana Moss is also out for at least another month.
