Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nate Washington left Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth quarter with what was originally described as a hip pointer, but is now being described as a simple hip bruise. Washington is expected to play in week ten against the Carolina Panthers. Washington reportedly suffered the initial injury in the first quarter, but aggravated it late in the fourth quarter when he fell on the hip during the final two-minute drill.
Over the first month and a half of the season Nate Washington emerged as the primary playmaker for the Titans offense. Since Kenny Britt went down for the season, Washington has been solid as the team's number one receiver. The last few weeks he has struggled a bit, collecting no more than 34 receiving yards in a game. If he is good to go for this Sunday he will be looking to regain some of that momentum moving forward.
