Joe Flacco put up some decent fantasy stats on Sunday vs. the Colts, tossing two touchdown passes and more than 200 total receiving yards. He found Torrey Smith and Dennis Pitta for touchdowns and Ray Rice ran in another score in the Ravens 24-10 win against Indianapolis.
Remember when the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at quarterback? Something similar could happen this year. Even more impressive is if you can win your fantasy football league with Joe Flacco as your starting quarterback. In a season where the top quarterbacks can pull the rest of a fantasy team, Flacco is more like a low-risk bye week starter. A game against Indianapolis probably won't help him either, since Ray Rice will get most of the work.
Through the first 12 games of the season, Flacco had 2,895 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Fake Teams, SB Nation's fantasy sports site, ranked Flacco 14th this week.
