Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner has fallen short of fantasy expectations all year, something he continued on Sunday. Turner was held to just 76 yards and did not score a touchdown
Heading into Week 14 he had been solid but unspectacular with 992 yards rushing and eight rushing touchdowns. But he had been a very solid play for any fantasy owner on most weeks. Week 14 presented a particularly good opportunity for him.
Turner his best game of the season-to-date in the Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, racking up 139 yards rushing and two touchdowns on just 27 carries. Much was expected of Turner in the Week 14 rematch with Carolina, as he ranked as No. 8 among running backs in fantasy this week over at the SB Nation blog Fake Teams, and was targeted as the One Falcon To Watch over at SB Nation's Atlanta Falcons blog, The Falcoholic.
