The Chicago Bears found themselves on the receiving end of a Tebow special Sunday afternoon as they lost a stunner to the Denver Broncos 13-10 in overtime. Marion Barber was on the receiving end of the odd play that always seems to help the Broncos as he fumbled on the Broncos 33 in overtime. Tebow led his team down the field and as has become the norm, the Broncos won.
The costly fumble overshadowed an otherwise solid performance by Marion Barber. He was starting in place of an injured Matt Forte and there was some concern he would lose carries to Kahlil Bell. While Bell did get nine carries, the Bears stuck to a heavy rushing attack as Barber had 27 carries for 108 yards and a touchdown. Add in two catches for 32 yards and it was a solid performance.
Forte remains sidelined for now and Barber likely will get at least one more start in his place. The Bears host the Seattle Seahawks in week 15. The Seahawks have been a fairly solid rush defense to date and could be a tough matchup for Barber.
