Steven Jackson Fantasy Recap: Late Touchdown Saves Quiet Day

Steven Jackson struggled on the ground for much of Monday's game against the Seahawks, but he redeemed himself in the fourth quarter with a touchdown. It had absolutely no bearing on the outcome of the game -- Seattle already had the game well in hand and would go on to win 30-13 -- but his fantasy owners appreciate the effort. He finished with 63 yards on 20 carries (3.2 yards per carry), adding another 60 yards on three catches.

During an otherwise forgettable fantasy season from the Rams, Jackson has been the lone bright spot, even if he had slowed considerably heading into Week 14. Despite failing to rush for as many as 75 yards in any of his past three games, Jackson was still having a solid season with 832 yards rushing and 162 yards receiving.

The past three weeks had been cause for concern, though. After amassing 417 yards during weeks 8-10, Jackson's production has slipped considerably. In weeks 11-13 he had rushed for just 127 yards, less than he had in any one of those previous three weeks.

Compounding those recent struggles has been an inability to find the end zone. Jackson has not scored since scoring twice in Week 8.
