Arian Foster gained 109 yards on 16 carries for the Houston Texans on Sunday. He surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the second consecutive season and joined Domanick Williams as the only running backs to record multiple 1,000-yard seasons in Texans history.
Foster fumbled the ball on the game's second play from scrimmage and Anderson recovered for the Panthers at the Houston 26-yard line. The turnover led to Newton hitting a sprinting Steve Smith along the right sideline for an early touchdown.
Prized running back Arian Foster (957 rushing yards, 8 TD) was held to just 41 yards and no touchdowns on 15 carries last week, and didn't score a rushing touchdown after going six weeks with at least one. Foster needs 43 rushing yards to reach the 1,000-yard for the second year in a row.
