Tom Brady Fantasy Recap: Pats QB Leads Team With Three Scores

Stay connected with SB Nation

Tom Brady watched the resurgent Broncos score on their first three possessions, then led the Patriots to 27 straight points en route to a 41-23 victory to help New England clinch the AFC East for the ninth time in 11 years.

Brady threw for 320 yards with two touchdowns and ran in another score in the sixth straight win for New England (11-3), which trailed 16-7 early in the second quarter before taking control.

The Patriots have historically struggled in Denver, 2-15 there since 1969, and Brady himself is 1-6 lifetime against the Broncos. New England entered Sunday's game with the worst defense in the NFL, so Brady had to be on his game to beat Tim Tebow and whatever high power has propelled him to a 7-1 record as a starter.

Brady is coming off a 357-yard, three-touchdown performance last week against the Washington Redskins. His 33 passing touchdowns are second behind only Aaron Rodgers in the NFL.
