We break down the Thursday practice participation report for week 17 of the 2011 NFL season. For more on fantasy football, check out Fake Teams.
Week 16 gets going on Saturday and Thursday's practice participation report has raised some question marks heading into the weekend. The most prominent is Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. He has sat out two straight days of practice and is likely looking at being fairly limited at best for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. You will want to monitor if he practices on Friday and then his status on game-day.
Marion Barber also sat out a second consecutive day of practice. Barber only had two carries in the second half last week and Kahlil Bell has likely earned a larger share of the load with Barber limited by his calf injury. Given that Barber is not playing until Sunday, you might have to make a call on him a day before you know if he will be active. Consider alternatives.
