Matt Hasselbeck was actually a solid stopgap for many fantasy owners early in the season. Lately he hasn't done much, however, especially Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Hasselbeck went 16-for-25 passing for 140 yards, throwing zero touchdowns and zero interceptions and basically doing a whole lot of nothing fantasy-wise.
If you're still alive in your fantasy football and you're starting Tennessee Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, give yourself a pat on the back. Clearly, you have mad fantasy general managing skills. Hasselbeck completed less than 56 percent of his passes last week and threw one touchdown and two interceptions against Tampa Bay. Of course, the real story in that game was the resurrection of Chris Johnson's fantasy relevance.
Prior to Week 13, Hasselbeck had 2,517 passing yards to go with 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Fake Teams, SB Nation's fantasy sports site, ranked Hasselbeck 11th on their quarterback rankings this week.
