Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton just couldn't get much done against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon. He managed to complete just 11 of 24 passes for 135 yards. He was able to throw a touchdown pass to A.J. Green, but that was the only tocuhdown the team scored.
It once seemed as though Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers had the rookie of the year honors all sewn up, but Dalton has slipped into consideration for some hardware himself. Dalton's steady presence under center has the Bengals playing fiercely competitive football this season.
Through 12 weeks of play, Dalton had thrown 16 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions and had 2,509 passing yards. As far as fantasy relevance goes, Dalton has given his owners a solid stand-in most weeks, but he isn't typically the kind of player that can steal a win based on his own production. Fake Teams ranked Dalton 23rd in their Week 13 quarterback rankings.
