After undergoing surgery on his injured thumb earlier in the week, there was still a remote possibility that Denver Broncos star rookie linebacker Von Miller is out for their Week 13 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Though the sports punditry has given Tim Tebow all the credit for the Broncos' stunning turnaround, those who have actually watched the games have seen that the best player in Denver all season has been Miller, and his absence will really hurt the defense that's held opponents to 13 points or less the last three weeks. Miller has 10.5 sacks and 57 tackles on the season, and has created consistent havoc in the backfield all season long.
Without Adrian Peterson, the Broncos should still have their way with the Vikings, but if there were a time when Tebow is most vulnerable, it's when his team's best player is out.
