Tim Tebow Fantasy Recap: Broncos QB Puts Up More Traditional QB Stats In Win

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Denver Broncos managed another fourth-quarter comeback victory on Sunday as they defeated the Minnesota Vikings 35-32 on a pair of late field goals. The Broncos have not done things in a traditional manner this year, but they continue to roll up wins and suddenly find themselves tied for first place in the AFC West.

While the victories are a total team effort, it is hard not to be amazed by what quarterback Tim Tebow has done this year. From a fantasy perspective he has been a revelation and is developing into a weekly must-start. On Sunday against the Vikings, he took advantage of a banged-up secondary and put up a strong fantasy performance using more traditional methods. Tebow put up approximately 17 fantasy points thanks almost entirely to the passing game. He finished with 202 passing yards and two touchdowns, while only rushing for 13 yards on four carries.

Tebow remains an excellent fantasy option every week. He faces a tough Bears defense this coming Sunday, but can you really justify sitting him right now? He could very well struggle against a quality Bears defense, but he is also on a solid roll. You might as well stick with the hot hand.
