Fantasy Football Week 14 Waiver Wire: Tim Tebow's New Target

Week 14 is the time when some leagues start their playoffs, for others it's the last week for playoff positioning. Either way, the waiver wire can help.

Thursday Game: Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 14 is here, seems like only yesterday that owners were preparing for their fantasy drafts. The NFL season goes by in the blink of an eye, and now some fantasy leagues are starting their playoffs. Others will wait until Week 15, but either way, the waiver wire can be your friend. Let's check in with numberfire.com to get some add and drop advice for Week 14

Add

Owners of Matt Forte are surely hurting today as their plans for using the dual threat running back in the playoffs are ruined. Forte will likely miss a few games with an MCL knee injury. But, if you need help at running back, Forte's replacement, Marion Barber, could be an emergency fill-in. He's not the threat Forte was, but he might scrape together some touchdowns around the goal line. Out in Denver, Tim Tebow is developing some chemistry with wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who had a strong game last week. Another running back to look at is C.J. Spiller who put up decent numbers over the weekend subbing for Fred Jackson.

Drop

In case you didn't hear, tight end Fred Davis is likely to be suspended for failed drug tests, so he's on the drop list. Green Bay running back James Starks is dealing with a sprained ankle which has limited his playing time and the Packers have turned to Ryan Grant for the limited use they actually make of running backs.
