The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cleveland Browns in a Thursday Night Football inter-divisional tilt. Let's take a look at what each team offers from a fantasy perspective and check out some team projections courtesy of numberfire.com.
The Cleveland defense has been very good in pass defense, so while you'll probably play Ben Roethlisberger, he might not have a big scoring day. Because of the Browns pass defense, and their soft run defense, expect the Steelers to pound the ball and that's good news for Rashard Mendenhall owners. Although the Pittsburgh defense hasn't produced fantasy numbers like they usually do this year, the Browns offense is weak making the Steelers D a must-play. Steelers projections below.
It's hard to truly recommend any of the Browns players, if you're using them at this point, then you're probably struggling. Colt McCoy faces a tough matchup in the Steelers pass defense, this could be a ground game for both teams. Even then, it's hard to justify the Browns tailbacks unless you're really desperate for help. WR Greg Little and TE Ben Watson could be in lineups that need help, but don't expect much.
