ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sportscenter that Sam Bradford is going to hit the practice field Wednesday afternoon to see if he can handle the throws in spite of his bruised right index finger. Bradford injured the finger when he brushed his throwing hand against a pass rusher. Schefter reported the Rams expect him to be able to play, but this practice will give them a better idea.
The real question is whether you should be starting Sam Bradford this week. While Bradford had a strong rookie season, even before the season started he was likely a better bye-week fill-in more than anything else. Now that he has lost Danny Amendola for an indefinite period and Steven Jackson is going to miss Monday night's game against the Giants, Bradford is a guy you should stash on your bench for the time being. He's got great long term potential, but for now the Rams have numerous question marks.
