The Houston Texans limited running back Arian Foster's work in practice on Thursday, but head coach Gary Kubiak is encouraged by his progress this week. According to Kubiak, as long as everything runs smoothly on Friday for Foster, he should be ready to start on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. We'll make sure and have an update after Texans practice on Friday, along with any late breaking news over the weekend.
While hamstring injuries can be tricky due to potential aggravation, the Texans have taken their time with Foster, which will hopefully put him in a position for a strong return to action. While Ben Tate will likely get a decent amount of carries, Arian Foster is the no-doubt number one running back in Houston. A strong performance last week by Tate is not likely to put too much of a dent in Foster's fantasy value. For now, Tate will be best served as a handcuff to Foster.
