Arian Foster Injury Update: John Clayton Muddies The Water

Just as it sounded like Arian Foster was going to be officially good to go for the Houston Texans this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, ESPN's John Clayton managed to muddy the water on Sportscenter. During his injury report, Clayton indicated it appeared likely that Ben Tate would get the start on Sunday and the team would "mix in" Arian Foster. The general concern being that they don't want to risk a quick re-injury and would rather work him in slowly.

Kubiask has said he would be his guy if healthy, but this does raise concerns about whether to start Foster on Sunday. I've got to think even if Foster comes off the bench, he'll end up with more carries than Tate. At the same time, we're going to need to wait and see what Gary Kubiak has to say after practice today. We'll have at least one more update on this situation before you have to make your start/sit decision with Foster.
