Frank Gore spearheads ground game in big win, is fantasy stable

The Star-Ledger-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore leads an effective ground attack in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore was a big part of his team's convincing road win over the New York Jets in Week 4. Gore, who spearheaded the Niners running attack, ran for 62 yards and a touchdown on 21 attempts. Gore also had two catches for 13 yards through the air.

Fantasy Analysis: Gore had 23 total touches against the New York Jets in a dominating win. San Francisco's premier back still gets the goal-line carries, likely because he has the best vision and most experience in the Niners' backfield. The 49ers love to run the football and are extremely good at it. The team ran for 245 total rushing yards against the Jets. Gore continues to be a must-start in fantasy leagues.
