Ryan Williams Watches Fantasy Stock Fall Off In Week 4

Jennifer Stewart-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Ryan Williams barely made an impact for the Cardinals in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

After looking like a solid play at running back in Week 3, Williams fell off the map against the Dolphins. He carried the ball 13 times for just 26 yards, struggling to find any running room in the Cardinals win.

Fantasy Impact: The good news for Williams' owners is the fact that he doesn't have much competition now with Beanie Wells out. Also keep in mind the Dolphins are extremely tough against the run. Williams didn't look like he was up to the challenge in Week 4, so hopefully he'll bounce back against the Bengals porous rush defense next weekend. Starting Williams right now is probably a risky option, but if you're limited at running back, at least you know he's handling the majority of the carries until proven otherwise.
