Julio Jones was bothered by a hand injury during Sunday's one-reception, 30-yard game Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. We break down the fantasy implications.
Julio Jones was hindered by a hand injury during Sunday's game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers, according to the Associated Press. Jones finished the game with just one reception for 30 yards despite eight targets on the day. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday prior to Sunday's game after lacerating his hand during last week's win over the San Diego Chargers.
Fantasy Impact: Jones was not expected to be limited in the game, and Matt Ryan still targeted the wideout often so it's difficult to tell just how hindered he was. In any case, he should be fine going forward. Jones ought to be a solid WR1, but the presence of Roddy White is limiting his touches within the offense.
