Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon struggled to find a rhythm in Week 4. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon struggled to find his groove against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. In the Jags' Week 4 loss, Blackmon caught the ball six times for only 48 yards and no touchdowns. The Jacksonville offense only accumulated 10 points all game.
Fantasy Analysis: Blackmon could not have been expected to take this league by storm in a changing offense with an inexperienced quarterback. However talented, Blackmon may struggle to put up consistent numbers as a rookie, and to no fault of his own. If you own Blackmon, chances are you did not invest a ton in him, so you should be able to afford to leave him on your bench in certain weeks. If you like the match-up, Blackmon can provide a solid flex on occasion, but is not a top-producing starting receiver.
