Ahmad Bradshaw started at running back Sunday night when the New York Giants took on the Philadelphia Eagles, but managed just 39 yards rushing on 13 carries, adding 38 yards receiving. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 39 yards on 13 carries, and had 38 yards receiving on three receptions during Sunday's game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. Bradshaw started the game over Andre Brown, who had led the Giants in rushing the last two weeks while Bradshaw sat with a neck injury. Brown finished with 14 yards rushing on five carries.
Fantasy Impact: Bradshaw wasn't particularly effective during Sunday night's loss, but it's clear that the Giants believe he is the team's best running back regardless of how well Brown performed in Weeks 2 and 3. This is good news for fantasy owners going forward, though Giants fans might be questioning the move. The Eagles were a difficult matchup, but next week's game against the Cleveland Browns could pay off big dividends.
