Kenny Phillips left Sunday night's game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles with a knee injury. Though the safety was unable to return, X-rays taken in the locker room came back negative. Tom Coughlin said after the game that he hopes the injury is simply a knee sprain, and that the team will know more tomorrow.
Fantasy Impact: Phillips hasn't been a viable IDP option in fantasy leagues this season, but his loss further hinders an already struggling secondary. The Giants are averaging over 260 yards given up through the air per game. The team has been a middling option as a Team D/ST option in standard leagues so far this season.
