Benny Sieu-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Jordy Nelson scored his first touchdown of 2012 in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jordy Nelson led the way in the receiving department for the Packers against the Saints. He finished with eight receptions for 93 yards and one touchdown on 12 targets.
Fantasy Impact: Finally Nelson found the end zone in 2012. After a ridiculous 15-touchdown campaign last season, Nelson hasn't lived up to his lofty expectations this year. He's averaging well below his yards-per-catch mark from 2011 as well, failing to break away from huge plays like we became accustomed to in his career year. Nelson continues to be a top target for Aaron Rodgers, especially with Greg Jennings on the sidelines. Hopefully for his owners, the scoring will continue, but it's clear he won't be repeating 15 touchdowns this time around.
