New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was on the field for 58 plays in Sunday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was on the filed for 58 offensive snaps in Sunday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, while Andre Brown played just nine snaps. Bradshaw returned to the lineup after missing a game because of a neck injury. In Bradshaw's absence, Brown rushed for two touchdowns and 113 yards. The Giants ran the ball just 19 times against the Eagles, with Bradshaw getting 39 yards on 13 carries. Brown finished with 14 yards on five carries.
Fantasy Impact: If this is any indication, Bradshaw remains the Giants running back fantasy owners will start. Brown was expected to have more of a role after his strong game against Carolina but Bradshaw is better in pass protection. Don't be surprised there are games when Brown sees more action but he looks like more of a handcuff than a reliable fantasy producer.
