Rashard Mendenhall should play for the first time in 2012 this Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Steelers expect Rashard Mendenhall to make his 2012 debut this Sunday against the Eagles. Mendenhall has not played since tearing his ACL last season, and Pittsburgh could use his talent to help bolster its run game,

Fantasy Impact: Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer haven't made much of a contribution running the ball so far this season. The Steelers are averaging just 65 yards per game on the ground through four weeks, and the return of Mendenhall will be welcomed by everyone in Steeler nation. Pittsburgh has yet to discuss how much playing time he will see this weekend, or what the workload distribution will look like. However, fantasy owners who likely grabbed Mendenhall late in their drafts should soon reap the benefits.
