Rashard Mendenhall was limited in Steelers practice Monday and Tuesday, but his status for Week 6 is not in doubt. We break down the fantasy implications.
Rashard Mendenhall was limited in practice Monday and Tuesday for the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the team's official site. Mendenhall made his season debut Sunday coming back from a torn ACL suffered in Week 17 of the 2011 regular season.
Fantasy Impact: Mendenhall was listed once again with a "knee" ailment, suggesting that the coaching staff is keeping him rested while he shakes off some rust. Until you hear otherwise, you are safe to assume that the running back will play in Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans. Mendenhall sparked the Steelers' offense last week, rushing for 81 yards and touchdown and tacking on 20 yards receiving against what should have been a stout Philadelphia Eagles defense. He could be a solid RB2 going forward in standard leagues.
