Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was held out of practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. Peterson sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans but still finished with 88 yards on 17 carries. Peterson is expected to play in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins.
Fantasy Impact: Peterson's injury is not a concern at this time, especially considering the workload he had last weekend after the injury occurred. Peterson has been a steady fantasy performer this season in terms of yardage but his only two touchdowns came in the opening game of the season. Fantasy owners should continue to use Peterson as a No. 1 fantasy running back and hope that he starts to find the end zone regularly.
