Jerome Simpson on track to play in Week 6: Fantasy Implications

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson is on track to play this Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson (back) is expect to be back for Week 6, per Examiner. Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier confirmed as much this week. This weekend, the Vikings are set to play the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Analysis: The Minnesota Vikings have been a surprise team this year, competing hard and looking competent on both sides of the football. If Simpson returns this weekend, he worth a start, proving a great flex option for owners. We've seen the productivity between Christian Ponder and Percy Harvin, and another added weapon will only open things up further. With Harvin still attracting much of the attention in the passing game, Simpson should find some opportunities for receptions, yards and scores.
