La'Rod Stephens-Howling practices this week: Fantasy Implications

Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Arizona Cardinals running back La'Rod Stephens-Howling participated in practice this week. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinals running back La'Rod Stephens-Howling (hip) participated in Wednesday's practice and is expecting to play on Sunday, per Darren Urban. After missing Week 5, Stephens-Howling expects to play this Sunday versus the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Analysis: With the injuries to their backfield, the Cardinals are all of a sudden very, very weak at the running back position. This has opened opportunities for players like Stephens-Howling, and William Powell, who is expected to receive perhaps the brunt of the work load. Stephens-Howling could win more reps, but he's going to have to do it on the field. At the moment, his value is pretty limited until he can prove he's the No. 1 guy in Arizona.
