Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan feels he and quarterback Josh Freeman are developing a better understanding of one another. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan is confident that things are heading in the right direction with quarterback Josh Freeman. Sullivan said (via The Tampa Bay Times) that he and Freeman are becoming more familiar with one another and is seeing evidence of that on the practice field. The Buccaneers (1-3) are near the bottom of the league in yards per game and in the bottom half in points per game heading into Sunday's contest with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact: Freeman has thrown five touchdown and four interceptions through four games under Sullivan, a first-time playcaller. Freeman has made some good plays at times but is not yet back to playing the way he did in 2010, when he threw 25 touchdown passes. Freeman remains a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.
