Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller to continue splitting carries: Fantasy implications

Chan Gailey seems committed to splitting carries between Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. We break down the fantasy implications.

Buffalo Bills RBs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller are both healthy. The question now is how to divide up the playing time between the two. Coach Chan Gailey went on WGR 550 Monday morning to discuss giving more carries to Spiller: "I know he needs to touch it as much as we possibly can have him touch it, but Fred is another big play guy as well...but I think the issue is how do we get both guys more touches."

Jackson had 16 carries for 53 yards and a TD against the Cardinals on Sunday, playing 40-of-69 snaps. Spiller saw 12 carries for 88 yards and a TD in 30 snaps.

Fantasy Impact: With both players' injury issues behind them, this is going to be a tricky balancing act for Gailey. Spiller is clearly the more talented back, but Gailey seems committed to keeping this running back-by-committee going.

Regardless of how the playing time shakes out, both guys will get plenty of touches, and are decent fantasy plays against the Titans' poor run defense in Week 7.
