Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
The Chargers expect Malcom Floyd to play against the Broncos on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.
San Diego Chargers WR Malcom Floyd (groin, questionable) is expected to play Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos, according to a source from NFL Network's Albert Breer. Floyd tweaked his groin earlier in the week, but got in limited practices Friday and Saturday and there's no indication of him missing the game.
Floyd has 20 catches for 358 yards and one TD on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Obviously, we'll have until official inactive reports are released later to know for sure, but it sounds like all systems are go for Floyd. He's a somewhat inconsistent fantasy player, but is one of Philip Rivers' favorite deep threat targets and can go off for 100 yards in any given week.
Consider Floyd a solid WR3 play tonight, with high-end WR2 upside.
