Terrell Suggs will be activated from the physically unable to perform list this week, allowing him to practice with the Baltimore Ravens, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Suggs is still recovering from a torn Achilles' tendon suffered last spring.
Suggs will practice on a limited basis, and may still be several weeks away from game action. The Baltimore Sun reports that the defensive end's rough initial timetable remains unchanged. He is still likely to come back sometime in November.
Fantasy Impact: Even if Suggs is a ways away from actually playing for the Ravens, his return to practice still comes at a good time. The team needed some good news after losing Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb to season-ending injuries.
Suggs will be a hot waiver pickup in IDP leagues when he does return, and should certainly improve the Ravens from Team D/ST perspective. Unfortunately, he is unlikely to completely offset the losses of Lewis and Webb.
