Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin returned to practice from hamstring injuries Wednesday, providing a big boost to the Cleveland Browns' receiving corps. We break down the fantasy implications.
Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin returned to practice Wednesday for the Cleveland Browns, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Both wide receivers sat out last Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals with hamstring injuries. Massaquoi hasn't played since Week 3, while Benjamin hasn't played since Week 4.
Through three games played, Massaquoi has nine receptions for 145 yards. Benjamin has 10 receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown through four games.
Fantasy Impact: There is no word yet on the status of either player for Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. Benjamin was able to practice on a limited basis late last week, and seems slightly more likely to play. If both are able to return, it will be interesting to see how they are targeted by Brandon Weeden.
The two wideouts were No. 2 and No. 3 on the depth chart behind Greg Little when healthy. Josh Gordon has been absolutely lethal as a deep threat in recent weeks, however, and may have officially jumped Massaquoi and Benjamin on the pecking order for targets. Don't be in any hurry to put either receiver back in your starting fantasy lineup.
