San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham was listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham (shoulder) was listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report, per Matt Barrows. Even though he is less than 100-percent, Manningham should be active on Thursday night versus the division rival Seattle Seahawks.
Of San Francsico's new additions, Manningham is the one that's been seeing the most action. In this West Coast system, Alex Smith has been giving him a lot of looks recently, as Michael Crabtree absorbs the No. 1 cornerbacks.
Fantasy Analysis: Manningham was added to the team this offseason, and has found his niche within the offense. Jim Harbaugh and the offensive staff seem to like having Manningham on the field, so he gets plenty of opportunities. Of the wide receivers, Manningham is becoming the second-most fantasy viable option for the 49ers.
He is hardly worth a spot in your lineup by-weekly, but he may become a very solid flex as the season goes on. In favorable match-ups, Manningham has the potential to go off in this top-10 offense.
