Eli Manning seeks rare fantasy gem against Redskins in Week 7

Stephen Dunn

Eli Manning hasn't had a 300-yard passing game against the Washington Redskins since 2008 but that could change on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Eli Manning is one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy football but he hasn't always put up monster numbers against the Washington Redskins. According to Art Stapleton of The Record (N.J.), Manning has just one 300-yard passing game in his career against Washington and that came back in 2008.

Manning has 24 300-yard passing games in his career and he could get another on Sunday, as Washington comes into the game allowing an average of 328.3 passing yards. Against the rest of the NFC East, Manning has six 300-yard games in his career against Dallas and four against Philadelphia.

Fantasy Impact: Manning and the Giants lost both games to Washington last season so it wouldn't be unheard of for him to have an off day. That being said, Manning has so many weapons to use in the passing game that it would be hard to imagine Washington keeping him under 300 yards again.

Manning continues to be a top fantasy option at quarterback and should reward fantasy owners again in Week 7.
