Aaron Rodgers practicing for Packers, remains fantasy must-start for Week 7

Thomas Campbell-US PRESSWIRE

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers practiced on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers practiced on Thursday, a day after being limited because of a calf injury. Both Rodgers and Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that the injury was not a concern.

Rodgers threw for more than 300 yards and six touchdown passes last week against the Houston Texans. The Packers face the St. Louis Rams in Week 7.

Fantasy Impact: This was an expected development for Rodgers, who hasn't really struggled with injuries since becoming the starter in Green Bay. Rodgers has the Packers at 3-3 and is coming off his best fantasy effort of the season against the Texans.

Rodgers has a number of strong options to throw the ball to in this passing attack and remains a must-start for fantasy owners in all formats.
