Seattle heads into the locker room with a 6-3 lead over divisional foe San Francisco.
The barnburner that is the Seahawks vs. 49ers on Thursday night has two main stars so far. Marshawn Lynch and Frank Gore are leading the way for their respective teams, each continuing to rack up yards against two of the league's toughest run defenses.
Seattle heads into halftime with a 6-3 lead, but this one looks like it will come down to the wire. Russell Wilson and Alex Smith haven't managed much through the air. A defensive battle, though, is what most anticipated heading into this matchup.
Fantasy Impact: If Lynch and Gore continue to shoulder the load for the ground game on both sides, their owners will reap the benefits. Lynch sits at 55 yards on nine carries, while Gore ends the first half with 39 yards on six carries. It's clear each team wants to run the ball, and we can expect at least one of these two backs will find the end zone eventually.
Fantasy owners can't be pleased with the rest of the performances on offense. Vernon Davis has yet to record a catch. That should tell you something about the way the first half shaped up.
