Frank Gore racking up fantasy points in second half against Seahawks

Thearon W. Henderson

Frank Gore is going off against Seattle on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Frank Gore is taking over Thursday night's matchup against the Seahawks. He now has 131 yards on 16 carries against one of the best run defenses in the entire NFL.

Gore also has five receptions for 51 yards on the night. Alex Smith continues to look his way in the passing game, and Gore delivers with solid chunks of yardage each time he touches the ball.

Fantasy Impact: Anyone who was worried about Gore's matchup this week can let out a huge sigh of relief. The Seahawks dominated Stevan Ridley last Sunday, but they haven't done anything to slow Gore down in Week 7.

He's been close to finding the end zone on several occasions, gashing the Seahawks defense for huge runs. If he can manage a touchdown in the final minutes he'll finish with a ridiculous week for his owners.
