Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson was limited again in practice on Friday but should play in Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson should be fine to play on Sunday despite being limited in practice the last two days because of a calf injury, coach Greg Schiano said on Friday. Jackson was added to the injury report on Thursday but Schiano said Jackson's limited participation was precautionary.
Jackson had 66 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Buccaneers face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: This does nothing to change Jackson's fantasy value for Week 7, as he is coming off one of his best games of the season. New Orleans has really struggled on defense through five games and Jackson figures to get his share of targets from Josh Freeman.
Jackson should be considered a must-start No. 1 fantasy receiver this week against New Orleans and will be a solid option in most weeks. Fantasy owners should start Jackson with confidence.
